Mr. Shannon started Southeast Community Day Parade and Festival in 1991 ....
and it continues to bring a spirit of happiness to the Newport News Virginia Community.
It continues to be one of the largest parades in the city of Newport News, Virginia and attracts over 60,000 attendees annually along with his other events including Feeding 5000 and the Andrew Shannon Gospel Music Celebration. Shannon is celebrating over 30 years of service to humanity and "Building A Stronger Community."
